No breakfast included. The room was small but clean. We loved our balcony and lake view! (Unless the neighbors smoked😵💫). The young gal at the front desk was friendly, happy and helpful!! And it had a lift which is a must for us.

Loris was the receptionist when we entered the building and he immediately made us feel welcomed in Switzerland! He was gracious in even helping us find a great Italian place to eat for dinner and placed the reservations for us!
Dina was our server in the morning for the complimentary breakfast but complimentary is not a sufficient word for what we were provided and the service that she offered us. The premises are truly tranquil and both Loris and Dina were the ABSOLUTE best representatives of any establishment. We started at the Jetty to celebrate our two week 25th wedding anniversary trip, and the bar has been set high for wherever we stay. We will absolutely be back!
Located directly on the lakeshore, the Golf Hotel René Capt offers you a wonderful view of the French Alps, Lake Geneva and the world-famous Castle of Chillon.

Surrounded by Lake Geneva and glorious Alpine peaks, tranquil Montreux has enchanted artistes through the ages. Lord Byron was so inspired by the style and setting of waterfront Château de Chillon that he wrote a poem about it. Nowadays it is one of Switzerland’s most popular attractions.
Freddie Mercury also fell in love with Montreux and a lakefront statue in Place du Marché commemorates this former resident in typical pose, with one arm raised to the heavens. Queen fans flock here for the annual Memorial Day, just one musical festival hosted by this town. The most famous is the 2-week Montreux Jazz Festival, held in the Music & Convention Centre.
On the opposite side of town is Audiorama (the Swiss National Audiovisual Museum), near a funicular railway which climbs the hill. Further up the slopes is the family-friendly Rochers-de-Naye ski area, while the Les Pléiades pistes overlook neighbouring Vevey. Down at the quayside wooden chalets house stalls of the annual Christmas market.
Summer activities include boat trips, hiking and the Montreux-Oberland-Bernois narrow gauge railway whose trains allow you to really savour the views…and a nice cup of coffee.
The train station also connects to Geneva, site of the nearest airport, and Booking.com offers luxury hotels, apartments with views and cheap B&Bs nearby.

It's a wonderful small town on the bord of Geneva lake where you can find peace, quiet, meditate and reflect as you wish to find your inner self. It's different from other swiss cities and once you were here might understand why Freddie loved it so much.

Montreux is a wonderful region that one can spend 3-4 days in easily. The lake side views are phenomenal. One can choose from multiple options such as visit vineyards around Vevey, take a train ride from Vevey to Laussane (regional one not the fast trains), explore Chillon castle, do a trip on golden express or glacier express, take a trip to Roches de Nayers and just relax and enjoy scenic beauty of the region. Highly recommended

Montreux is a wonderful location to spend your holiday.
Montreux is a wonderful location to spend your holiday. It has many restaurants to dine at. The view of the lake is stunning. There is plenty of public transport, and with free passes you can travel all around the town. And also there are a couple of free train journeys for you to travel up the mountain side. And should you feel lucky, you can try your luck at the Casino which is just across the road from the Hotel.

Two night/three days in Montreux barely scratched the surface of all the things to see and do. The charm, the location, culture and sheer beauty, especially along the lakefront captured my heart. May it capture yours, too!

Wonderful place.
Wonderful place. The city is confined in a narrow region between the lake and steep mountain, but still well organized without mess. There are several parking buildings which was ok during the jazz fest in September. So many wonderful places to visit if you take mountain trains from Montreux.
We loved the hotel, its position and charm. The garden was beautiful and the interior was classy with relaxing music, fresh flowers and a quiet elegance. The room was well equipped with a wonderful view. Check in/ check out was smooth and we had a warm welcome. We thought the continental breakfast was good quality with reasonable choice and a good ambience. The small town and lakeside setting is stunning. There are easy access routes to Montreux, including regular buses and the promenade walk is wonderful.
From the start to the end it was like a fairly tale. The pictures do not prepared you for the ambiance and enchanting views as well as the quaint touches at the property from outdoor seating areas to your own indoor fireplace that lights up the stone walled room. The little windows make it into the cosiest of nests but also wake you up gently as the sun rises. Switzerland is a beautiful country but the chateau was our highlight of the holiday.
Charming old villa, rooms had enormous ceilings with large windows, really impressive old style building located in quiet part of montreaux. The family was very impressed.Nice to use the 5 star hotel services across the street if desired. Excellent value. Would definitely stay there again if in the area. Great beds and large room size, clean. Check in across the street, so no one on staff in villa if that bothers some guests?
Delightful stay in an idyllic location - the hotel is an absolute gem of a property, and the restaurant provided a fantastic dinner quite late on our arrival evening. Although the tickets aren't cheap, the hotel is right next to the funiculaire which takes you right up to the top of the mountains at 2,000m, with some unforgettable sights (and option to walk back down). Will definitely be back on our next trip to Switzerland!
The location of the hotel could not be better, right at the foot of Montreux train station. Also, walking distance to the Lake Geneva and Christmas Market. Hotel is a grand old hotel kept in great condition. Spacious room and balcony with fantastic view of the lake and mountain. Had a bathtub. Will definitely book again if visiting.
Great boutique hotel, parking right near the door and a fairly quiet location! We had a fantastic view from our room, and whilst small it had everything we needed. Decor was fun and a great base for walking around Montreux. Staff were great and booked us in for dinner at the hotel which has been a highlight of our trip.
This is my fourth stay in Eurotel Montreux. The hotel has the perfect location close to the lake, train station, shopping areas, etc...The Privilege double room with balcony has a stunning view of the lake & the mountains and partial of the charming Montreux city. Reception Staff are friendly & helpful.
Direct access to the hotel from 1 platform of the railway station.
Great staff !!!

Comfortable bed. Very nice soap and shower gel supplied. Air conditioning in room. Use of spa and pool in the royal palace hotel but this is on the other side of the road. Reception gave us travel tickets to use on bus and train. Very helpful. Only a five minute drive to Montreux.
The location was perfect, just a few minutes by walk from the Montreux train station. The staff at the reception was very kind and informative, the view from the room was awesome, and the room itself was large and clean. The Christmas market is located just in front of the hotel.
The grounds were lovely and the hotel lived up to its grand old hotel status. our rooms were not fancy but they were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating. the location, just outside of Montreux, is beautiful and con isn’t, especially if you have a car.
Great hotel, which you can access right from platform 1 of Montreux train station. Nevertheless, during the night it was completely quiet.
All staff was kind and helpful.
Breakfast was amazing, big choice of fresh fruit, granola, and hot foods, great quality products.
You cannot separate price from the evaluation of quality when considering any property. Montreux is a classy resort and most hotels are corresponding expensive. The Bon Port was very good value as a centrally located, 'clean and safe' option.
This is a really nice hotel in the area. It was really comfortable and a great view to the lake. The breakfast was awesome. I'm really centric to do the things in Montreux and only 45 minutes if you want to go to Geneva.
Smooth self check in, room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Shower was great. Hotel was kind enough to look after our bags while we went to see the nearby castle.
Great location near train station and the lake.
The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Montreux
Room was great, view exceptional. Montreux is a beautiful city so it's not hard to achieve that with a comfortable room, if you have a hotel with a view.
